NEWS: Disney World’s Lightning Lane Prices Have Gone DOWN Today

So much goes into planning a trip to Disney World, even after you’ve booked your room, bought your tickets, and taken care of how you’re getting there.

You still need to consider if you’ll be purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, but if you’re headed to Disney World today (or if you’re already there), you may want to go ahead and do that if you haven’t yet. Why? Lightning Lane prices have gone DOWN today — and they’re the lowest prices we’ve seen in some time.

As of today, September 29th, you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for $20 for Magic Kingdom, $15 for EPCOT, $20 for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $15 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These are the lowest prices we’ve seen in a while. This means that Disney is not expecting demand for the service to be too great today. However, as of tomorrow, September 30th, prices go back up: $25 for Magic Kingdom, $18 for EPCOT, $22 for Hollywood Studios, and $16 for Animal Kingdom.

Frozen Ever After Lightning Lane

However, we did notice that Lightning Lane Single Pass seems to already be sold out for the day for both TRON Lightcycle / Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom, as well as Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom. Lightning Lane Single Pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is $14 today in EPCOT, while it’s $20 for Rise of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios.

Rise of the Resistance

Lower prices for Lightning Lane Multi Pass could suggest that standby lines could also be lower today, so you may want to consider taking advantage of lower wait times. Rope drop is already long gone, but you could also find shorter lines at night during fireworks and just before park closing.  Ultimately, you’ll have to decide if you want to pay extra to skip standby lines.

With the new system, Disney World visitors are able to book Lightning Lanes in advance (which is likely why some Lightning Lane Single Passes are already sold out), so it’s a decision you’ll have to figure out at least seven days before your trip if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel or three days if you’re staying elsewhere.
