Is Disney World Open or Closed Tomorrow?

Hurricane Helene is expected to make landfall Thursday evening around 7 PM on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The storm is expected to intensify and could be a Category 4 hurricane by the time it makes landfall.

As Florida prepares for the hurricane, you might be wondering about what’s open and not open at Disney World tomorrow after the hurricane begins to make its way across Florida. We’re going to give you an update on what we know so far about what’s happening in Disney World tomorrow.

The Disney World website currently states that Disney World’s operating hours, for the time being, will remain the same. Note that this could change as Helene reaches landfall and Disney World is monitoring the weather very carefully. However, Disney suggests that all visitors check the weather forecast for Central Florida before visiting Disney World.

However, some experiences in Disney World have been canceled ahead of the hurricane. Typhoon Lagoon is temporarily closed today on September 26th. Disney World’s two miniature golf courses are also closed.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has also been canceled for tonight, September 26th. If you have tickets to the party, you will be refunded the cost of the ticket. However, Magic Kingdom will stay open to 8PM tonight for those who want to continue to enjoy the park.

More cancellations could follow as Hurricane Helene progresses. At the moment, Disney World is currently under both a Tornado Watch and Tropical Storm Warning. As of right now, no closures have been announced for tomorrow, September 27th at Disney World.

If you are visiting Disney World over the next few days, you’ll want to stay weather-aware. You’ll also want to keep an eye on the Disney World website in case other closures are announced.
