The anticipation for Universal’s Epic Universe is ASTRONOMICAL, and all of us on the AllEars Team have our eyes peeled for any little update.
Seriously, no matter how small the update, we are all over it. And this time, we have news about one of Universal’s upcoming hotels: Helios Grand Hotel!
The Helios Grand Hotel is set to be a Mediterranean-inspired hotel, taking design cues from celestial patterns and constellations. It will be located inside Celestial Park, which is a land within Epic Universe (how cool is that?!).
Because of this, the hotel will have its own dedicated entrance to Universal’s Epic Universe, eliminating the need for transportation to the park. Transportation will be available, however, to other Universal Orlando theme parks.
Guests of the Helios Grand Hotel can also enjoy a rooftop bar with a 360 view, unique dining, and exclusive amenities that make this a stunning and relaxing escape. Helios will also offer early entry into not just Epic Universe but the other Universal theme parks as well.
The one perk this hotel will not offer, as opposed to other Preferred and Premier Universal hotels, is the inclusion of Express passes. Express pass is Universal’s skip-the-line service that allows you to bypass regular stand-by queues, and unfortunately, it is not included with a stay at the Helios Grand Hotel.
Construction has been underway for a while, as the hotel it is expected to open sometime in 2025, and we’ve been keeping an eye on its progress. A new photo of the most recent construction progress has been shared on the X/Twitter platform.

Captured by @bioreconstruct, this latest photo highlights the rapid and stunning progress of the hotel’s construction, with many elements from the concept art already taking shape. The speed at which everything is coming together is impressive, and it’s exciting to see the vision becoming a reality as time goes by.
And if you’re wondering what that tall rock-like structure is on the right side of the photo, it’s the mountain inside of The Isle of Berk, the How To Train Your Dragon land inside of Epic Universe!
