OUCH. TONS of Rides Were STRUGGLING Yesterday in Disney World

September in Disney World may seem like it would bring fall temperatures, and while it does get the tiiiiniest bit cooler, quite literally only by a few degrees, it’s certainly not chilly by any sense of the word.

The chillier temperatures are coming, but not quite yet. What we have seen, though, is that crowds seem to be fluctuating a little more than we expected. We’ve seen days where Magic Kingdom feels almost empty, but then we have days like yesterday that show us that those wait times can jump back up in a heartbeat.

Here’s a full look at the Disney World wait times on September 20th, 2024!

Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run had the highest wait time of 70 minutes later in the day, a few hours before the park closed for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which makes sense! A lot of people may not have realized the park was closing early and ran to go ride before they wouldn’t be able to anymore. Pirates of the Caribbean also had quite the rough day, so we’re assuming someone forgot to say good morning to the supposed resident ghost, George. (The story goes that it’s a long-held superstition among Cast Members)

Epcot

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had the highest wait of the day, hitting 85 minutes after being closed due to an issue for an hour (Frozen Ever After also had issues). Otherwise, wait times were relatively decent for EPCOT, never getting too high, which is nice to see!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

In a wild turn of events, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster had the highest wait time of 90 minutes, beating out some of the usually more popular rides in the park. It didn’t break down though, which is a win in our book! Overall, Hollywood Studios was busy yesterday, with many wait times staying around 70-80 minutes.
