BREAKING: The Disney Destiny Cruise Ship OFFICIALLY Has a Launch Date!

We’ve got Destiny details!

The Disney Cruise Line is growing FAST. Later this year, the Disney Treasure will launch, while the recent D23 Ultimate Fan Event saw a further announcement of even more ships being added to the fleet. Now, we have official information from Disney on the maiden voyage of the NEXT U.S.-based Disney Cruise Line ship. 

As officially announced by Disney in late August 2025, the Destiny’s maiden voyage will be a four-night cruise that’s scheduled to depart from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 20th, 2025. 

According to Disney, “this special four-night cruise be your first opportunity to experience all this ship has to offer, but it will also include stops at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!”

Following this trip, the Destiny will settle into an “inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.” Furthermore, every sailing will feature a “day of fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay — some itineraries will even visit both! — and select cruises will feature more sun-soaked relaxation and warm-weather adventure in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico.”

Bookings for the Disney Destiny will open to Castaway Club Members first on September 6th, 2024, with bookings then opening to the general public on September 12th. 

The Destiny will feature the Cask and Cannon lounge, themed to pirates, as well as the Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King dining experience, “Disney Hercules,” a “Broadway-style show retelling the popular Disney Animation film”, the Cruel-themed paint lounge De Vil’s, Edna Á La Mode Sweets, the Marvel-themed Sanctum lounge, and “hero-worthy staterooms and suites featuring custom artwork of some of our most epic Disney stories; a new, villain-packed storyline aboard the AquaMouse water attraction; and iconic tributes to legendary Marvel Super Heroes like Black Panther, Spider-Man and Iron Man!”

The Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage is officially scheduled for November 20th, 2025, with bookings opening in September 2024. Stay tuned to AllEars for further updates on the Disney Cruise Line.
