A SECRET Disney Festival Is Starting August 23rd – See the Exclusive TREATS Available NOW!

NEW treats are coming to a galaxy far, far away.

When Disney first opened the Star Wars-themed Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Walt Disney World back in 2019, the custom food and drink options were some of the most heavily promoted parts of the new lands. Over the last five years, new options have cycled through the land — with many being Anaheim-exclusive — to varying degrees of success. This past week, Disney announced some new options are coming to Disneyland’s Batuu.

According to the official @DisneyEats Instagram account, the new food options will be coming to Galaxy’s Edge as part of a celebration of Batuu’s “Harvest Festival.”

The following three dishes will be available beginning on August 23rd:

  • Endorian Roasted Chicken Salad: Marinated chicken with mixed greens, roasted seasonal vegetables, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, and green curry ranch.
  • Surabat Valley Harvest Board: Torched sourdough bread with aji verde-infused pork spread, and spicy salsa criolla.
  • Jogan Seed Oi-Oi Puff: Green cream puff, green crunch, and ube creme.

While Disney didn’t specify where these new options would be available, it seems likely that they’ll be available at Docking Bay 7. The restaurant’s backstory is pretty fun, and Disney describes how Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked a food freighter loaded with fresh supplies, and he’s ready to satisfy the appetites of visitors and locals alike with an array of exotic offerings.

Disney explained, “His planet-hopping travels allow him to prepare fare with unusual flavors that delight customers.” This is a prime spot to try out new dishes within the land, with the thematic explanation that they’re newly imported dishes and ingredients.
