Our team has flown hundreds of times for vacation and for work, and we’ve encountered all kinds of problems — from weather delays to airline glitches. But today, if you’re flying through the Orlando International Airport, we’ve got a warning for you!

According to Eric Burrus from WESH Orlando, the Orlando International Airport (MCO) has officially issued a ground stop. This means that flight delays are going to start piling up quickly.

This ground stop is due to thunderstorms in the area and is causing a 60-minute flight delay on average. If the storms don’t clear quickly, that number may rise.
