Lightning Lane Prices Are Getting Lower in Disney World

The Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Single Pass systems were rolled out at Disney World on July 24th, 2024.

While similar in some ways to the Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane systems, there are also some big differences such as being able to book your selections in advance. We have been tracking the prices for these services, and we noticed that the lowest prices yet are coming soon.

September 2nd will be the first day that the price for purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass at all of the parks will be below $25. On September 2nd, you can get Lightning Lane Multi Pass for $23 at Magic Kingdom, $17 at EPCOT, $21 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $15 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

This is the first day since the introduction of the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass systems on July 24th, 2024 that no park cost more than $25. September 2nd also marks the day with the lowest prices across the board. When the parks used the old Genie+ system, the last time you could purchase the Multiple Parks Genie+ for less than $25 was May 1st, 2024.

What makes the date interesting is that September 2nd is Labor Day, which usually means more people in the parks as some people get the day off. However, the lower price for Lightning Lane on Labor Day leads us to believe that maybe Disney World isn’t expecting large crowds that day.

This reduction in price could mean that Disney World is expecting some lower crowds as we enter into the month of September. We are curious to see how the lines and wait times look at the beginning of September when the price becomes lower for Lightning Lane.

Since the introduction of Lightning Lane Multi Pass, the price for Magic Kingdom (which has consistently been the most expensive park) has fluctuated between $25-$29. In comparison EPCOT has fluctuated between $18-$19, Hollywood Studios has fluctuated between $22-$26, and Animal Kingdom has fluctuated between $16-$18.
