Cinderella at Magic Kingdom

Ok, so Princess Week isn’t exactly happening quite yet, but the celebration is starting early, and we had to join in on the fun!

Princess Week is a celebration of the iconic Disney princesses, and it takes place all across the Disney parks. The official event runs from August 25th through 31st, but exclusive treats have already started to arrive at Disney World, and we were thrilled to try some of these enchanting eats!

Come with us to enjoy some limited-time treats in Disney World!

Guardian of the Dragon Gem

This Raya and The Last Dragon-inspired treat consists of a coconut cake, mango mousse, lychee-dragon fruit gelee, and dragon tail cream and is topped with a white chocolate décor. You can find this at Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom for $6.29.

Though incredibly stunning, this treat did have a TON of mouse and frosting, making it a little difficult to eat since it is currently summer and the HEAT is at an extreme. The coconut cake also has coconut flakes baked into it, giving it a very similar texture. Although we could taste the dragon fruit in every bite, the lychee was unfortunately not as flavorful as we wished it was.

Make sure to grab lots of napkins when digging into this one, but overall, we give this dessert 10 out of 10 dragons (we should totally use this as a solid rating system).

“Make it Pink, Make it Blue” Aurora Fruit Tart

Inspired by the classic scene we all know and love, this Sleeping Beauty-themed treat is made up of diplomat cream, raspberry mousse, and fresh berries, topped with a white chocolate crown and citric acid color-changing solution (oooh, sounds magical!).

“Make it Pink, Make it Blue” Aurora Fruit Tart

You can get this colorful, regal dessert at Le Petit Café in  Disney’s Riviera Resort for $7.29. This tart is berry-much a dream come true. A tasty combination of both sweet and tangy, the mix of fresh berries and vanilla bean from the diplomat cream is decadent, and the inclusion of the lemon juice inside the “special heart potion” makes it deliciously tart.

The raspberry jam hidden between the cream and the tart was also a nice surprise. This is definitely a treat worthy of a princess.

Rapunzel Ganache Pop

This Tangled chocolate pop, which showcases Rapunzel’s iconic hair, consists of dark chocolate, vanilla beans, and candied cherries covered in 65% dark chocolate.

Although we didn’t see the candied cherries or vanilla beans when we took a bite, the taste was indeed very strong. The cherry fruit flavor is what stands out the most in the flavor profile overall, so although it was nice to be able to taste it, it overpowered the chocolate and vanilla beans.

Rapunzel Ganache Pop

If you’re not a fan of cherry, then this may not be the treat for you, but we love how cute and recognizable it is (definitely deserving of some aesthetic Insta pics!). This is available at The Ganachary in Disney Springs for $7.

Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest updates for the upcoming Princess Week celebration!
