It’s no secret that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Disney World’s newest ride, has had a bit of a rough start.

During Cast Member previews, the ride went down multiple times, leaving many people unsuccessful in riding (including Quincy — twice!). However, many of the biggest problems appeared to smooth out when the ride officially opened. Or so we thought — we just looked at the numbers, and it was the most commonly closed ride in all of July.
Magic Kingdom
It’s true! In July, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure closed 47 times over 26 days, which is WILD. Granted, this ride now has a lot of new animatronics that may be causing some issues, and it’s still settling in, but we’re hoping this number will go down the longer it’s open.

However, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train went down 45 times in 23 days, and that ride has been open for a decade, so maybe we shouldn’t hold out too much hope. ?

EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is one of the more technologically advanced rides in all the resort, only closed 29 times in 21 days. That seems like a lot (and it kinda is), but in comparison to what we saw in Magic Kingdom, that’s pretty good!

Surprisingly, right behind Remy’s was Gran Fiesta Tour, which closed 28 times in 18 days. Now, this relaxing boat ride is NOT one of the most advanced rides in Disney World, to put it lightly, so why did all these closures happen? Your guess is as good as ours.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster just came out of its SECOND months-long closure in two years…so naturally it closed the second most in all the parks — 41 times in 21 days. Y’all, what is HAPPENING? It JUST reopened! What was all that refurbishment for? We’re so confused.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway closed the second most in this park, 35 times in 21 days. We’ll cut this one a little slack, since again, it’s a pretty advanced trackless dark ride, but it would be nice to see this number go down.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Oh, Animal Kingdom. We love you dearly, but it becomes more apparent every day that poor Dinoland U.S.A. needs that retheme. We love it, don’t get us wrong, but seeing TriceraTop Spin close a whopping 38 times in 25 days? *sigh*

Kali River Rapids was right behind it with 33 closures in 24 days, but this one isn’t on our radar too often since it’s such a short water raft ride. However, if you’re looking for a great way to get absolutely soaked, take a spin on this and there’s about a 75% chance you’ll end up wet from head to toe (unless you sit in the strange seat that somehow doesn’t get wet once).

Rockin Roller coaster must have made some changes to the shoulder restraints. It painfully beat the my right ear and pulled my earring out of my ear while on the attraction. I have been riding this ride for 20 years. First time this has ever happened.
