What Happened to Those 300+ Minute Wait Times in Disney World?

For decades, we’ve been telling you that heading to Disney World during the summer is one of the busiest (and hottest) times you could choose to go.

This is because most kids are on summer vacation, meaning that most families choose to take their vacations around this time so kids don’t have to miss any school. In past years, we’ve seen wait times easily hit 300+ minutes for some of the more popular attractions, but we’ll be honest — we haven’t seen those in quite some time. Just take a look at what we mean.

Here’s a look at the Disney World wait times on July 13th, 2024.

Magic Kingdom

Over in Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train both tied for the highest wait time of the day, but it was only 60 minutes! While an hour is still a hefty amount of time to spend in line, we’ve seen lines WAY worse during past summers, so this is a pleasant surprise!

In a very strange turn of events, Toy Story Mania had the highest wait of 140 minutes, BUT that was right before it went down for almost the remainder of the day, meaning it’s possible the high wait time was due to ride issues before it went down.
