First of all, make sure you are drinking plenty of water. You want to drink water before you even start to feel thirsty, so start hydrating as soon as you wake up and make sure you are constantly drinking water throughout the day. You can grab free water cups from quick service restaurants, or you can also bring a reusable water bottle with you to the parks!

Free water is a MUST!

Bring items and accessories to help protect yourself from the sun. Make sure you pack sunscreen that can adequately protect you, and consider bringing hats, moisture-wicking clothing, fans, and even sun umbrellas.

Wear cool clothing

Make sure you are taking plenty of breaks from the heat and eating proper meals throughout the day. Also, make sure you are listening to your body! Don’t push yourself past the limit for the sake of getting more things done. Take breaks when needed, seek out air conditioning, and head back to your hotel before you are completely exhausted.
