Disney’s 4th of July Genie+ Prices Are NOT What We Expected ?

We hope you’re having a great day at home, or a great day at Disney World celebrating with a ton of other people. Maybe you’re trying out some of the exclusive new snacks in the parks today or seeing the rare fireworks show! But if you’ve bought Genie+, Disney’s paid skip-the-line service, here’s what the prices are telling us about crowds today.

Today in Disney World, purchasing Genie+ will cost you the following in each park:

These may not look surprising at first, but Genie+ prices can go all the way up to $39 per person per day, which we last saw in March of this year. While we haven’t seen the price go up that high in many months, it means that 4th of July crowds aren’t even comparing with spring break crowds earlier this year.

Inside the Emporium

Genie+ prices are set based on surge pricing, meaning the price raises when Disney anticipates bigger crowds. So, based on the prices of Genie+, this means that crowds are decently high but certainly not as packed as they may be around the winter holidays.

Magic Kingdom Crowds

We also saw that Magic Kingdom’s new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride was temporarily unavailable in Magic Kingdom earlier today. However, within about an hour, the ride was back up!

As a reminder, the only ways to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are to get a spot in the Virtual Queue at 7AM or 1PM OR to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane (soon to become Lightning Lane Single Pass).
