Throw Out Everything You Know About Disney Cruises. The NEW Adventure Ship Is Gonna Be TOTALLY Different

Disney Cruise Line already has a fleet of five completed ships, but THREE more are on the way!

You may know the Disney Treasure is embarking on its maiden voyage in December 2024, and the Disney Destiny was recently unveiled, but did you know about the Disney Adventure? This ship isn’t set to start sailing until 2025, but this ship is going to be different than ANY other Disney Cruise Line ship you’ve seen before.

While each Disney Cruise Line ship is unique, many of them have similar layouts, meaning that even if you’re on a new (to you) ship, you may be able to find your way around pretty easily if you’ve sailed with Disney Cruise Line before.

However, the Disney Adventure is going to be VERY different from any Disney Cruise Line ship you’ve sailed on before because Disney didn’t build it!

That’s right — Disney bought this ship, which was mostly built and is currently retheming it to be a Disney ship. The makeover is happening now in Germany!  It’s unlikely that Disney would gut the entire ship just to change the layout AND still meet their 2025 deadline, so we’re expecting this ship to look a little different.

Additionally, while we don’t know when sailings for this ship will begin just yet, we do know there will be 3 and 4-night sailings from Singapore, which is where the ship will call home. The port “will be both a journey and a destination filled with endless possibilities for fun the whole family will enjoy,” according to Disney. Here’s a preview map of some of the features coming to the ship!

We also know the ship will have Pixar, Marvel, and Disney stories to explore, as well as the following activities:

  • Disney Imagination Garden: An open air stage where you can watch exciting performances and journey through an enchanted valley inspired by more than 100 years of Disney stories
  • Disney Discovery Reef: A family entertainment area featuring interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas and more exploring the undersea worlds of some classic Disney stories
  • Marvel Landing: An Avengers-level adventure featuring thrilling attractions and all-new experiences

  • Wayfinder Bay: A poolside retreat reflecting the Pacific Islands-inspired artistry of Moana
  • San Fransokyo Street: Inspired by the world of Big Hero 6, San Fransokyo Street will be a bustling family entertainment area featuring interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas, and more
