Can you believe Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is finally opening soon at Magic Kingdom?!
The ride is currently in Annual Passholder previews, and ever since the preview window started a few weeks ago with Cast Members, we’ve seen it have some…issues, to say the least. Unfortunately, those problems seem to only be continuing as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Annual Passholder previews have been going through it today.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opens in Magic Kingdom on June 28th! Previews for select groups of lucky folks have been going on for a few weeks now, except some people have been rather unlucky when it came to their chance to actually experience the new ride. It seems as though Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is still having some problems.
On June 18th, the 1PM Annual Passholder Virtual Queue was canceled, and boarding of any previous folks who snagged groups was paused with no indication as to when it might be back up and running.
UPDATE: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure reopened around 2:30PM after only running for about an hour this morning. Cast Members said that only those who secured boarding during the 7AM VQ drop would be able to ride today.
This isn’t anything we haven’t seen before with this ride, as the ride has been having a rough go during previews. We’re talking closures and full-blown evacuations. It even took us a while to ride at first thanks to all the chaos!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a log flume ride that takes you through an original story, set after the events of The Princess and the Frog. You’re helping Tiana plan for a big party, so you go searching for musicians in the bayou!
The ride features several new animatronics of Princess Tiana, Louis, and all their friends. Mama Odie even appears in the ride! Many of your favorite songs from the film are present, as well as a brand-new tune for the finale scene.

The ride has gone down frequently. They have drained the water and filled it again, but Disney is not reporting what is going on with this attraction. I am curious, what’s the problem?
