Something NEW Just Arrived in Harry Potter Land at Universal Orlando!

There are few theme park lands as lovable as the Wizarding World of Harry Potter…even Disney fans would agree!

Hogwarts Express

The lands are full of hidden details and Easter eggs to explore, interactive experiences with wands, delicious food, BUTTERBEER (can you tell that’s our favorite), and so much more. Now, after you’ve been hanging out in Hogsmeade all day, you’re going to want to stay until the nighttime too. That’s because a new show is happening at Hogwarts and you won’t want to miss it!

We’re giving a warm welcome to the new show called Hogwarts Always! which officially debuts on June 14th!

Hogwarts!

Universal stated, “Hogsmeade will delight in the night time show Hogwarts Always – an incredible new projection show that will take guests on a journey through iconic moments of a school year at Hogwarts – all set against the majestic backdrop of Hogwarts castle. From supply shopping in Diagon Alley, and the exhilarating ride aboard the Hogwarts Express, to participating in the Sorting Ceremony, celebrating the House Cup winner and so much more, this visually stunning experience promises to captivate witches, wizards and Muggles of all ages.”

A new show!

The show features four different endings to celebrate the four Hogwarts houses and you can expect to hear dialogue from Hagrid, Dumbledore, the Sorting Hat, and more.

We got to preview the new show during a media event and Quincy LOVED it! The projections are incredibly crisp and very realistic.

The show follows the journey of a typical Hogwarts student. First, you’ll get your Hogwarts letter, and then the castle turns into Diagon Alley. From there, you’ll take the Hogwarts Express to school and witness the sorting ceremony. As a student, you’ll get to watch quidditch and you’ll even end up in the Forbidden Forest.

One of our favorite scenes comes next, where you get trapped in Devil’s Snare and Dumbledore directs everyone to raise their wands — we can imagine this being super cool if the audience gets into it.

Don’t get caught in the Devil’s Snare!

The show ends with the awarding of the House Cup, and there are four different endings where each house gets to win. How fun!

There are currently two different Harry Potter-themed lands — one in Universal Studios (Diagon Alley) and one in Islands of Adventure (Hogsmeade). The latter is where this show takes place!

Hogwarts at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Don’t worry — a third Harry Potter land is coming to Epic Universe! The park, which is set to open next year, will feature five lands — one of those being a new Ministry of Magic area. Universal hasn’t revealed too many secrets about this land just yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as they do!
