If you’re a Disney fan, then there’s a good chance you love watching the shows and live entertainment at the Disney Parks.
Whether it be fireworks, parades, or stage performances, Disney definitely knows how to bring the magic and make things creative. Well, one Disney park just announced a brand new show that will arrive soon, and we have thoughts. Our first thought: THIS IS UNHINGED. Go ahead, check it out yourself!
Disney just shared that “Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland” is now at Disneyland Paris!
The new show kicked off on May 25th and will run until September 29th, 2024.
Disney said, “Featuring a series of musical performances, aerial acrobatics and BMX stunts, this immersive theatrical adaptation at Walt Disney Studios Park offers a different twist on the final croquet game scene between Alice and the Queen of Hearts. Not only can you see the exciting face-off between these beloved characters, you may even influence the outcome of the show during the grand finale!”
The fun starts with the stage! It’s inspired by the “pop art” movement and is the resort’s largest stage measuring over 220 feet long, 80 feet deep, and 50 feet high! It also features 13 screens!
There are also five NEW songs inspired from music from the original Alice in Wonderland movie. You’ll see several beloved characters singing and dancing along, like the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar, the March Hare, and the White Rabbit.
Disney also said, “The show features various types of exhilarating performances including acrobats that make use of seven trampolines on stage, including trampoline walls for aerial acrobatics. Some of the trampolines are even located at the foot of the bleachers to bring you closer to the action! While the acrobats perform, BMX riders will jump through the air and perform tricks across the stage to the sound of the music — it’s a one-of-a-kind experience!”
One of our favorite aspects of this show is that the audience actually chooses the ending! Disney said, “During “Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland,” there’ll be a moment where you can cheer as loud as possible to support your favorite team, whether it’s Team Alice or Team Queen of Hearts. This unique final scene will take audience opinion by measuring their enthusiasm to decide the ending of the show and which of the two characters should be celebrated during the grand finale!” How cool is that?!

I love the fact that DLP continues to lead from the front when it comes to entertainment: first those awesome drones and now this! I’ll be popping over to Paris later this summer and I can’t wait to catch it.
