There’s Just ONE REASON Disney World Experts Will Wait in 100+ Minute Lines

We’re gonna go out on a wild limb here and say the majority of your time spent at Disney World will be spent in lines for rides, shows, and meet and greets. Would you say that’s fair? Yeah, we thought so. So understanding what’s a priority to you when you’re preparing for your next visit to Disney World’s parks could be the single most important thing you do (but planning when and where you’re going to eat is certainly a close second)!

The temperature is rising, and the summer crowds are moving in (along with the folks who are eager to be one of the first to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure), so we’re glad you’ve turned to the experts to find out which rides you need to either book it to first or forget altogether when those wait times creep up!

Have you ever heard the phrase, “time is money”? Well, that kind of rings true when you’re paying for tickets to visit Disney World’s theme parks. And while you only have so many hours to fit everything you want to do into your schedule, the slightest change could send your entire plan (and time) down the drain quicker than you think.

But let’s say you’re not someone who has to “plan it all,” maybe you’re more apt to just allowing yourself to go with the flow of the traffic during your time at Disney World’s parks. In either case, you’ll want to make certain that where you’re choosing to a lot your precious time isn’t totally wasted only getting through a fraction of what you’d ideally like to accomplish daily.

One thing’s for sure around Disney World and that’s that it can be unpredictable. One might think that the summer crowd has already arrived and that’s made for some MASSIVE wait times across the board. What we were surprised to find though, is that many of the wait times have recently hovered between an hour to an hour and a half or less.

Yeah, that’s MOST of the rides! However, the flip side to that is there were 3 popular rides where we saw their wait times hit triple digits (around 2 hours+). Most recently we saw this with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Avatar Flight of Passage, and Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. So what would make these seemingly unrelated rides see soaring wait times? The answer is so simple!

All three of these rides feature extensive queues, most of which are indoors. Disney World experts (like us) or those who have really thought out their decisions might not scoff so easily at these higher wait times. With most of their ride queues indoors, it stands to reason you’ll probably be treated to a few hefty blasts of quality air conditioning (cue the “ahhh”).

If you’re really looking to maximize your time, and want to take one for the team to hit up the longest ride wait time of the day during the hottest parts of the day, this could be a prime opportunity to get you out of the sun, take a small break, and stay cool while not losing time by waiting outside of a ride’s line.
