That’s because the newest theme park Epic Universe is set to open! Universal keeps revealing bits of information at a time, but we know we can expect five distinct lands — Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and a new Wizarding World of Harry Potter Land. Universal revealed everything coming to the Celestial Park area earlier this year, but there’s been a name change and we’ve got all the details!

Celestial Park will serve as the main hub at Epic Universe with the other lands as spokes off of that (think Magic Kingdom’s layout). In this land, there will be several rides, attractions, restaurants, and shops and one of those is a big roller coaster. It was announced with Starfall Racers as the name, but now that has changed!

According to the Universal website, the name has been updated to Stardust Racers. As far as we’ve seen, this has been updated everywhere on the website.

This change comes after Starfall Education opposed Universal’s trademark application, according to Alicia Stella on X (formerly Twitter). In April, Universal filed a trademark for the new name, Stardust Racers, but now it seems that name is official.

Stardust Racers is a dual-launch coaster that will hit speeds of 62 miles per hour. Universal says you’ll be able to, “Race along an inverted crisscross, known as the “Celestial Spin” in a dazzling display of blazing colors and ethereal music.”

There’s also already a height requirement of 48 inches for this attraction.

What else is coming to Celestial Park? In addition to Stardust Racers, you’ll be able to ride the Constellation Carousel! Onboard, the constellations glide forward, and backward, and make 360-degree rotations on the carousel. Astronomica will be an interactive wet play area that features stunning fountains.

Restaurants in the land include Atlantic with a surf and turf menu, The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant serving Asian eats, The Oak & Star Tavern with barbecue and Pizza Moon serving a variety of pizzas.

Not only that, but Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel will also have an entrance connecting to the land. It’s the first of its kind at Universal Orlando — learn all about it here.

Epic Universe does not have an exact opening date or timeline just yet, but we’re on the edge of our seats waiting for Universal to announce it. We know it’s set to be sometime in 2025 and will update you as soon as we know more!

  1. It’s not too late the Universal Studios Hollywood to change the theme of their new coaster to anything other than those stupid Fast and The Furious movies.
