A highly-anticipated new Disney theme park land is about to open… but accessing Fantasy Springs isn’t as simple as just entering the park.

Tokyo DisneySea – already regarded by many as the best Disney theme park in the world – is less than two months away from opening it’s newest, highly anticipated addition. June 6th will see the debut of Fantasy Springs, a massive new expansion featuring areas based on Frozen, Peter Pan, Tangled – each complete with rides based on those films – as well as a new in-park hotel. Excitement for this new expansion is through the roof, and due to this high demand, the Tokyo Disney Resort has laid down some guidelines as to how guests will be able to enter the new land.
Guests wishing to enter Fantasy Springs won’t be able to simply purchase a Tokyo DisneySea park admission and then enter the land at their leisure. Instead, they’ll need a DisneySea passport (AKA a valid entry ticket to the park) and either a Standby Pass, Disney Premier Access, or a vacation package booked at the Fantasy Springs Hotel.

Let’s go through each option:
Standby Pass
A free Standby Pass can be obtained on the official Tokyo Disneyland Resort (TDR) app once a guest has entered the park with a valid admission. Using this Standby Pass, guests can select one of the four attractions in the land – Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure, and Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies – and will be given a one hour timeframe during which they can enter the land and join that ride’s queue. Note that all members of a party must have their own Standby Pass.

Disney Premier Access
Disney Premier Access is a paid service that allows a Fantasy Springs guest to select from three of the land’s four attractions – Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies is only available for those with a Standby Pass, though a Standby Pass can be held at the same time as Premier Access – and will be given a time window to “experience the attraction” with a reduced wait time.
Once visitors lock in either their Standby Pass or Disney Premier reservation on the app, they’ll be given a time where they’ll be eligible to enter Fantasy Springs. They will also be able to begin placing mobile orders for the restaurants within the land – Royal Banquet of Arendelle, Lookout Cookout, and The Snuggly Duckling – but only for available times within the time Fram they’re eligible to be in Fantasy Springs.

Entering the Land
Once their time to enter the land comes, guests will need to present their park ticket and timed code at the land’s entrance to enter Fantasy Springs. From there, they will be able to experience the land’s shops and restaurants. When the time comes for them to ride one of the attractions, they’ll need to “Display the code on the screen of the Tokyo Disney Resort App, which shows the entry time of the specific attraction, and present it for admission.”
Once inside Fantasy Springs, there’s no re-entry if one leaves the land.
Hotel Packages
For those staying at the new Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel, or who’ve booked other eligible Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages, there is a third way to enter Fantasy Springs.

These guests will be eligible to purchase a 1 Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic. This ticket – additional to regular DisneySea admission – will allow holders to enter Fantasy Springs any Time during the parks operating hours, and ride the land’s rides an unlimited number of times. After showing their ticket to enter the land, guests will be given a wristband, valid only for that day, that will allow them access.

The process for entering Tokyo DisneySea’s new Fantasy Springs may be a bit complex, but given the exceptional demand for the new land, it’s most likely worth the hassle. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for more news as the opening of the land approaches.
