We are SO excited for the many different new attractions and experiences coming to Disney Cruise Line‘s newest ship, the Disney Treasure.

We know there are going to be new shows to experience and new restaurants to check out, but one of the ones we’re most excited about is the new Haunted Mansion Lounge on the way. If you plan on visiting though, make sure you don’t miss this hidden detail!

The Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the Disney Treasure sounds like it’s going to be an incredible immersive experience for Haunted Mansion fans. The decor will match the vibe of the iconic ride (and the films inspired by it), and even include some of our favorite touches, like the three hitchhiking ghosts!

Disney has revealed that a specific bust you’ll see in the parlor may look a little familiar if you’re up-to-date on your Disney history, and that’s because it’s modeled after Roland “Rolly” Crump, a Disney Imagineer who was a massive part of the Haunted Mansion development!

But why is his bust, like, melting? Well, part of Rolly’s idea for the Haunted Mansion attraction was the “Museum of the Weird,” which included a character who appeared to be melting like a candle. His memorial plaque below the bust reads, “BROTHER ROLAND — FOREVER REVERED FOR EMBRACING THE WEIRD.”

So when you’re on board, be sure to stop by Rolly and say a quick thank you for everything he did for the attraction!
