These Hotel Announcements Could CHANGE Your Next Trip to Disney World

If you stay at a Disney World hotel during your trip, you get more than just the benefit of being closer to the parks!

Perks include free transportation. Staying on property also means that you get free parking at the theme parks! These are great benefits, but NEW perks for 2025 could make your trip even better!

Disney has recently announced that certain hotel benefits will be returning in 2025 and also announced that a NEW perk will debut! These perks can change your trip for the better!

Early Theme Park Entry

If you are looking to get a head start on your park day, or if you want to spend as much time as possible in the parks, then this perk is for you!

Disney has confirmed that Early Theme Park Entry will continue into 2025. Early Entry is a special perk that only those staying at Disney Hotels. This perk is similar to Extra Magic Hours in the sense that you can enter the park early, but Early Theme Park Entry provides more flexibility.

Those staying at a Disney World hotel can enter the park 30 minutes before park opening. This perk is available at all four parks each day. This means that this perk can be used each park day! While 30 minutes may not seem like that much of a head start, it can give you enough time to ride an attraction or get in line for a popular attraction.

Not only are certain attractions open, but some shops and restaurants are available during this time. This perk is a great way to ensure you can squeeze as much park time as possible into your day.

Extended Evening Hours

If you think 30 minutes is a lot of extra time in the park, try TWO HOURS! If you are staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or Villa you can take advantage of this perk!

Extended Evening Hours are offered a few nights a week, unlike Early Theme Park Entry which is offered each morning. Extended Evening Hours only happen in certain parks and not all four at once, so make sure to check the calendar on the My Disney Experience app to know which night and parks will be offering this perk.

This perk allows you to enjoy the parks at night with less crowds. We love it because Disney World at night can be so magical. This is also a great way to ride some popular rides with a shorter wait. Not all rides are open, for example, the PeopleMover is unavailable during Extended Evening Hours which we think is a shame! Regardless, this extra time in the parks is a great perk of staying on property at a Deluxe Resort or Villa!

FREE Water Park Ticket

Now this next perk is brand NEW! Starting in 2025, those staying at a Disney World resort or hotel will gain entry into one of Disney’s Water Parks!

Arriving at Disney World early means that you can experience the magic longer. Unfortunately, rooms are hardly ready early and you will most likely have to wait until 4 PM rolls around to gain entry to your room.

Disney seems to be trying to combat this boredom period by giving FREE entry to either one of Disney’s Water Parks. You can use your free ticket at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon on the day of check-in. To use this perk, only people listed on the reservation will receive a ticket, so make sure your entire party is linked!

Many people who visit Disney World do not make visiting the water parks a priority, so with this new perk more people will be able to do something new and also help pass the time as they wait for their room to be ready.

This perk starts in 2025, so if you plan on visiting Disney World in 2025, do not miss out on this benefit as it can only be used on your check-in day!
