Bad weather in Southern California has been flooding roads and creating mudslides for the past couple of days, and the National Weather Service has just extended flood watches in Orange County, where Disneyland Resort is located.
Disneyland closed early yesterday because of the weather, but, so far, it looks like the two parks will be closing at their originally planned times this evening.
Disneyland Park will close at 8PM tonight, with a specially ticketed event planned from 9 to 11PM.
Disney California Adventure will close at 9PM.
A Flood Watch remains in effect in the region through 6AM on Wednesday. The National Weather Service says flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible overnight tonight.
Two people have died in California as a result of falling trees due to the weather, Some areas have seen more than 12 inches of rain, with another inch possible today. Los Angeles County has reported more than 300 mudslides.
