A NEW 250-Room Hotel Is Coming to Orlando — And It’s Gonna Be BIG!

Penguins and dolphins and stingrays, oh my! SeaWorld Orlando has been making waves recently with all the new plans they have in store for their resort!

SeaWorld has been sharing some exciting updates lately, including some new and thrilling coasters! From the Penguin Trek ride coming soon to the recently opened Pipeline coaster, SeaWorld is really stepping it up! Now, we’re so excited about this brand-new announcement!

SeaWorld Orlando just filed plans for a NEW 250-room hotel at Discovery Cove! Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive day resort owned and operated by Seaworld where you can swim with Dolphins, have up-close interactions with other animals, feed tropical birds, and even partake in unlimited food and drinks!

The plans for this new expansion show that the hotel would be located near the park’s entrance on the property currently being used as a parking lot.

The plans for the hotel show that it would include a restaurant, pool, fitness center, bar, retail space, and an expansive (over 7,000 square feet) area of meeting space.

These plans come shortly after SeaWorld proposed Project Starboard, their first hotel. Project Starboard is a proposed 15-story hotel with 504 rooms, meeting spaces, a rooftop bar, and a connecting walkway between the park and the hotel!
