January is full of changes in Disney World!
January 9th marks some magic changes to the park pass reservation system, the dining plan, and park hopping. But other changes are popping up on the Disney World calendar that are set to hit the parks later in the month. If you hope to catch a couple parades in Magic Kingdom, you’ll want to be aware of these changes!
How you “do Disney” will be changing a bit in the next few days, but two entertaining parades are changing starting next week in January as well! Starting on January 16th, The Festival of Fantasy parade will be changing times in Magic Kingdom.
Currently, you can catch the parade at 12 PM and 3 PM, but from January 16th until as far out as we can see on the calendar (which is February 3rd as of now) the times will be reduced to only the 3 PM showtime. So if you hope to catch this fun fantastical parade on or after January 16th, be sure to be lined up for the 3 PM show!
But that’s not the only change we’re seeing on January 16th! The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is also changing times that day.
As of now, there is only one showing of this parade at 5:10, but on January 16th, you can catch it twice in Magic Kingdom at 10:30 AM and 11:45 AM.

Of course, things can always change at a moment’s notice in the parks, so be sure you are frequently checking your Disney World app to be sure you have the most up-to-date times and information!
