January will be upon us in only a few days — are you ready for a new year in Disney World?
We have so much to look forward to in 2024 — new restaurants, new attractions, as well as major changes happening with park passes early in the month. However, while park passes are still in effect, we hope you weren’t planning to visit one particular park on January 6th.
It’s official — Magic Kingdom park passes are currently SOLD OUT on January 6th, 2024. All other parks, however, are still available (for now)! And the rest of the month, including New Year’s Day, is also wide open.
Not only is this the case for regular park guests, but all of Disney World’s Annual Pass types are also blocked out of Magic Kingdom that day.
So why is Disney so busy on this day? Well, one big reason is that the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend runs from January 3rd through January 7th, and since the 6th is a Saturday…yeah, it’s bound to be busy.
