Making wishes come true is something we have seen in Disney movies time and time again.

Wishes are granted by genies, fairies, and stars. But sometimes, wishes come true in real life, as well! Thanks to a big collaboration, 100 wishes are coming true this year and we just had to share the story of wish #75.

Good Morning America, The Walt Disney Company, and the Make-a-Wish Foundation have all teamed up to grant 100 wishes in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Disney.

Recently, the 75th wish was granted to a teenage boy who had been diagnosed with Leukemia at age 11. PJ has wanted to be an actor all his life but was worried that he wouldn’t live long enough to see that dream become a reality.

Throughout all of his treatment, the show Black-ish has kept him laughing and holding strong. Thanks to Disney, Good Morning America, and Make-a-Wish, PJ was able to see his Wish of visiting the Black-ish set become a reality!  PJ got to meet the cast of the show, have lunch with Anthony Anderson, get three new pairs of kicks, and even do a voice-over for the show.

PJ said, he “was star-struck before he even met the stars.” Meeting the “family” that he had grown to love and enjoy watching was a huge highlight for him and his family and a memory he will never forget. You can watch the Good Morning America video about his experience and see how this wish truly made a difference for PJ.
