Getting to Disney World isn’t always an easy feat.

Orlando International Airport

There’s a lot of planning that goes into a trip, so why not make it as easy as possible? Orlando Airport and one airline are about to make that happen!

Porter Airlines has officially joined the Orlando Airport (MCO) family! As of November 21st, the airline has two new routes in and out of MCO, with flights departing from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Ottawa International Airport (YOW).

Orlando is the third Florida city Porter will be flying to, after Tampa and Ft. Myers.

“Canadians are the most frequent international visitors to Florida, and Porter is proud to take off on two more routes into the Sunshine State,” commented Kevin Jackson, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Porter Airlines.

“Porter’s direct flight service to Orlando provides a new option for travellers to more easily get to the theme park capital of the world,” Casandra Matej, president and CEO for Visit Orlando said. “The timing is ideal, ahead of winter travel, giving Canadians the opportunity to soak up the sunshine this winter and beyond.”

Sounds like our Canadian friends will be able to get to Orlando just a little bit easier from now on.
