Happy Holidays from Disney World!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is introducing Jollywood Nights for the 2023 holiday season, and we couldn’t be more excited to check it all out. We’re expecting delicious eats, low wait times, special events, and, of course — entertainment! But one show, in particular, has us the most excited — so come with us to check it out!
Disney Holidays in Hollywood featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy takes place at the Theater of the Stars at 8:45PM, 9:45PM, 10:45PM, and 11:45PM during Jollywood Nights! Disney shared that the show is meant to rival Radio City Music Hall for the holiday season, so let’s see what it’s all about.
The premise of this 30-minute show is that you are part of a live studio audience during the filming of a holiday special. What a clever way to blend Hollywood and the holiday season, right? The show features two hosts (who sing LIVE), stunning dancers, Mickey, Minnie, Kermit and Miss Piggy, and MORE!
Throughout the show, the characters sang songs, danced (and we mean DANCED — it was amazing), and even had some heartfelt moments. Princess Tiana came to sing a NEW song, and without spoiling anything, we’ll tell you it was FANTASTIC!
Belle stopped in to sing a classic Christmas song (which we also loved). Are you sensing a theme here? We had so much fun!
The show also took “commercial breaks” (since we were supposed to be a live studio audience), so look out for some funny little Disney Easter eggs!
Are you interested? You should be! This is a charming little show and was well worth our time. Tickets have sold out for a couple of party nights; however, there are still some available if you’re hoping to attend.
