Something NEW Is at Disney’s Beach Club Hotel!

The gingerbread displays in Disney World are some of the most iconic holiday decorations around the resort.

Grand Floridian Gingerbread House

Six Disney World hotels and one park display larger-than-life gingerbread structures. And these things are AMAZING. They feature spectacular designs and details, it’s hard to not be impressed. While Disney’s Grand Floridian gingerbread house was planned to open today (and it did!), Disney’s Beach Club ALSO opened their gingerbread display! Let’s take a look.

The Beach Club always brings out a stunning gingerbread carousel with a fun new theme each year. This year’s theme is Duck Tales World Showcase Adventure at EPCOT!

While this seems like a slightly random theme, it made for a cute design!

Adding the finishing touches!

The top has the Duck Tales logo and Spaceship Earth plus you can see all the country flags around the top.

Duck Tales! And EPCOT?

Each horse is themed for one of the pavilions in the World Showcase. There’s Germany…

Plus, while you visit the carousel you can grab a few snacks! We picked up the Mickey Snowman Cake Pop and the Signature Stollen.

The Mickey Snowman Cake Pop is $5.99 and so moist, it melts in your mouth! The fondant on it isn’t too thick like you might see on other cake pops, so you really get to taste the vanilla cake underneath. The decorations are made of chocolate and molding sugar. It is delicious, but eat it fast because it does melt in the sun!

Then we tried the Signature Stollen which had bouncy(?) layers. As strange as that sounds they were very enjoyable bouncy layers! It tasted like a flaky croissant with a thin fig-like gel.

Signature Stolling

While it is soft, it has tiny bits of sugar throughout it giving it a sweet crunch. It also has some spices in the layers of chocolate that weren’t overpowering, just agreeably detectable. At $13.99, it might be a good one to share.

So many layers!

We’ll keep you updated as we see more of the gingerbread displays become finished and opened up. For now, go check out the ones at the Grand Floridian and the Beach Club Resorts!
