Fans Are Freaking Out Over Disney’s ‘Frozen’ — Here’s Why!

It’s been 10 years since sisters Anna and Elsa first stole the hearts of children and adults alike with a story of true love. (It’s also been 10 years since the film thawed my angsty, 13-year-old heart and left me sobbing in a theater. Just a fun anecdote.) Anyway, teenage angst is not the point. The POINT is that it has been 10 YEARS. HOW?! How has it been a whole decade?! Disney shared the upcoming anniversary of the film on social media, and many fans are as shocked as we are regarding the milestone.

One user said, “10 years old? I remember seeing this in theatres. ? ” Yep, we didn’t really realize how fast 10 years could fly by.

Spring is almost here!

This next comment is very sweet. One person said, “No way has it been 10 years!!!! Disney coming in hot today making me feel old lol I refuse to admit that much time has passed since I brought my nugget in to see it in theatres ? ❄️ ? ? ” Many folks share fond memories surrounding this film with their little ones. We hope that this person and their nugget are still bonding over all things Frozen!

This comment on Twitter is what we’re all thinking, too. Someone said, “10 years? Jeez. I’m getting up there. Is it me or is time moving faster?” It’s not just you, buddy!

Here’s another that we found super cool. “How has it already been 10 years since this came out??? My 3 year-old is OBSESSED with Frozen!” A lot of us watched this film as teenagers and are now passing the love for the movie along to a younger generation. That’s what Disney is all about, truly!
