The Best View at Universal is at the Cheapest Hotel

I was recently hosted for a stay at Universal Orlando’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and was shocked at one part of the room in particular.

I am not kidding when I say the best part of this hotel is absolutely looking out the window in some of the rooms. So let’s talk a little bit about how you can get the best view at Universal…for cheap!

But let’s talk about that VIEW!

So, Cabana Bay is one of two prime value Universal hotels (high-quality accommodations and extra amenities at a prime value price) along with Universal’s Aventura Hotel – out of 8 Universal hotels total.

It’s themed with a vibrant, retro-style inspired by classic Florida beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s and offers standard rooms.

View options include Standard Rooms, Poolside Rooms or Volcano View Rooms and we are, of course, talking about those Volcano View rooms.

Cabana Bay is right next to Volcano Bay Water Theme Park. It’s so close, in fact, that some of the rooms at Cabana Bay are closer to the park gates than the shuttles that bring guests over from parking. This also makes for some stellar views.

Cabana Bay Resort Room

I stayed in a Volcano View Room and had the most amazing view I’ve ever seen from a hotel window. I looked out directly at the volcano and the rest of Volcano Bay where I could see people enjoying their fun in the sun.

It was spectacular, and I spent much of my stay just staring out the window. When the sun went down, the lights on the volcano made the view truly magical.

Nighttime View

And you can stay in this room for cheaper than many, many Disney hotels! Regular rooms at Cabana Bay range from around $170 to $330 per night (that’s cheaper than most Disney hotels — even some value options). The Volcano View rooms will be at the higher end of that range, but often you can get the room for around $200 a night — especially if you check for discounts.

I think it’s so special that you can have such a spectacular view without breaking the bank — and the rest of the hotel rocks, too. There’s a bowling alley!
