Percy Jackson and the Olympians fans have been waiting a long time for news about the upcoming series on Disney+!
Disney first hinted at a new series for this beloved book franchise back in 2020, and in 2022 they finally confirmed that production for this new project was starting. Now, in 2023, we finally have news about when this new show will debut on Disney+, as well as a first look at a trailer for the series!
Earlier today, Disney shared that Percy Jackson and the Olympians would premiere on Disney+ on December 20th, 2023.
But that’s not all! They also released a new teaser trailer for the series. You can watch it below.
This new show will tell the story of 12-year-old modern demigod Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, who is getting used to his powers when Zeus accused him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Mark your calendars for December!
