There are a lot of things to do at Disney World.

That might have been the biggest understatement ever. I don’t know if we could even put a number to all the foods you could try or all of the experiences you could have. But what is possible is putting a number to the amount of things you would never do at Disney World.
Not everything at Disney World is instantly a fan favorite thing to do, and that became clear when we headed to our Facebook page to ask a critical question…
We asked our readers: What’s something in Disney World that you absolutely refuse to do?
You guys absolutely delivered and the list got quite long pretty quickly, so we’ll just give you the top five things. Here we go.
#1 – Ride the Teacups
By far, the most mentioned thing you said you would not do is to ride the teacups at the Mad Tea Party.

Let’s just say that since it is a spinning ride, it’s known for triggering motion sickness for some people. Most of you mentioned the constant spinning and how that led to feelings of dizziness and nausea for you. If you’re prone to motion sickness, you may want to skip this ride and avoid any potential discomfort during your park trip.

Spin and spin your cup!
#2 – Ride the Tower of Terror
Your next most mentioned no-no was about taking a trip to The Hollywood Tower Hotel.

Listen, we know that spooky storylines and sudden drops are not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s definitely a ride for those thrill-seekers in your party. It seems that the consensus is that if you are not a fan of the drops, you might want to check out other, more lighthearted experiences.

#3 – Fly on Mission: SPACE
Following right on the heels of the Tower of Terror, you mentioned you’d give Mission:SPACE a hard pass.

Mission Space is a simulator ride that mimics the experience of space travel, complete with G-forces and enclosed spaces.
The intensity of this ride, especially the Orange side, is no joke. A lot of you talked about how it was too much to handle, and that it led to a lot of motion sickness and discomfort. So, while a space simulator sounds fun, if you struggle with motion sickness, better avoid this one or at least only do the Green side.

Ride to space; experience space travel like an astronaut. Two versions - Green/Earth (mild) and Orange/Mars (intense) 5 minutes +preshow
#4 – Pay for Genie+
Now this one is a bit of a mixed bag, but let’s say that for this list, you weren’t down for Genie+.

You could’ve brought back up the history of FastPasses and how you didn’t have to pay for them, but instead, you went straight to the crux of it: the value. You brought up good points about how much the park tickets were already and that it just didn’t seem to be worth the price just to shave off a few minutes. Either way, we’ll let you decide if it’s something you’re into doing.
#5 – Eat a Turkey Leg
This one’s sure to cause some controversy.

Remember, dining is very subjective. While Turkey legs are a popular Disney snack because of their large size and flavor, however, many of you were turned off by their greasiness and found them to be unappetizing and difficult to eat. It’s a mixed bag. We’ll leave you to make your own decision.
Honorable Mentions
As we said, the list was really long, so here are a couple of others that you mentioned:
- Coming to Disney World in the summer months
- Riding any of the roller coasters
- Dinosaur
- “it’s a small world”
- Waiting in a long line
