Why November 2nd Could Be an Important Day in Magic Kingdom

It’s true. The holiday celebrations seem to arrive earlier and earlier each year.

Hello Mr. Mayor!

Halloween decor has officially started going up at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and it’s still July. (Important side note: we are NOT complaining. The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack has been playing in our heads for weeks now.) Anyway, the spooky decor is UP,  our spirits are high, and Disney has somehow managed to get us even more excited.

Disney just shared with fans that (complete) Halloween decor could be found in Magic Kingdom from August 10th to November 1st.

They’re back!

So, not only do you have two and a half months to visit Magic Kingdom with the spooky decor, but this news also might serve as a hint as to when we can expect celebrations for the NEXT big holiday to start.

Hello, Mr. Pumpkin!

That’s right! This might be a hint that winter holiday decor might go up on or very soon after November 1st. In the past, we’ve seen some holiday decor go up as early as November 1st, but it might just be a few pieces here and there. November 1st is the last date to experience Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, so this checks out!  Plus, Disney could always surprise us! So, for now, just count on Halloween decor being gone on November 1st, and know that something merry is on its way.

Halloween Decor is up until November 1st

While a lot of visitors get annoyed by the early celebrations, we just like to view it as extra time for more visitors to experience how magical the Halloween and winter holiday seasons are at Disney World. That’s something that everybody deserves to experience!

Everyone deserves to see the magic of the holidays at Disney World

We’ll continue to keep you updated with any and all Disney holiday news, so make sure to follow along for more.

Now that Halloween is officially at Disney World, check out this spooky merchandise!

  1. How ridiculous to have Halloween decorations up in July/August. It just spoils the “once-in-a-lifetime” trip for all those people on a summer vacation who do not get to experience a traditional Magic Kingdom. Even the Christmas decorations are only there for 2 months.
