We get it, there are A LOT of food options in Disney World and sometimes narrowing those down can get a little overwhelming.

We’ve already given you our list of BEST restaurants to visit, but what about those truly just-can’t-miss food and snack that makes Disney World…well, Disney? Luckily you’ve come right to the experts!

Sometimes taking the right Disney vacation requires some preplanning even if you’re someone that really likes to “wing it” while on vacation. Planning out what you plan to eat might seem like a tedious task, but it could really have its benefits like budgeting correctly, saving you from a total meltdown in the middle of the day, and keeping you from tracking one side of a park to the other.

We know there are going to be lots of opinions about which food ranks the highest when you’re eating at Disney World to make it a successful trip. We even had some strong opinions while building out this list too within our team! We’ve compiled a list of our top 7 food items in Disney World that we think should be REQUIRED to try on your next Disney World trip. Without further ado, let’s dive in!

For starters, you can’t seem to go wrong with a Dole Whip.

Pineapple Dole Whip

This iconic soft-serve snack almost seems synonymous with Disney anymore and has lately grown in increasing popularity. So much so that there are now so many ways to have Dole Whip served to you — in a cup, a cone, a float with various soda and juice flavors, and even some different themed decorations to them.

Even if the standard pineapple flavor isn’t something that calls to you, you’ve got options. Dole Whip now comes in a multitude of flavors on a regular basis now in strawberry, chocolate, orange, and vanilla just to name a few so there really is something for everyone with this tasty treat.

Looking for something a bit more savory? You’ll want to pick up some Spring Rolls.

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

The Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom used to be elusive and only open for a select window during the park day. Since their popularity grew, they’ve recently started staying open longer and make for a great snack to keep you going about your park day. These stuffed spring rolls have been offered in flavors both now and in the past like classic cheeseburger, pastrami and pepperjack, and even cordon blue.

Ham & Cheese Spring Rolls

This is a snack that is great to try intermittently because of the different flavors that may be offered. There are two spring rolls in each order so you can get two of the same flavor or get one of each! These are great to share or pick up for little ones that might be more apt to want to eat on the go.

Alright, you’ve just GOT to try the Totchos!

Totchos

As basic as they may look, these little potato barrels packed with flavor will surprise you! Totchos took Disney by storm when they were first introduced and now you can find them at several locations across multiple parks. You can find them “loaded” with all the fixings at Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios…

Ready to snack like a Jedi? Then you’ve got to try the Blue & Green Milk.

Blue and Green Milk

Ever since Galaxy’s Edge opened in Disney we’ve been able to live out our best galactic lives in Batuu. But in order to look like we belong there we’ve got to eat like a local, right? Next time you’re visiting “on planet” stop by the Milk Stand and make your most critical decision of the day — will you try green milk, blue milk, or both! The blue milk has more of a subtle coconut flavor to it…

….while the green is said to have more of a citrusy flavor.

Green Milk

If you’re really looking to kick up the flavor with either of these check out the spirited options (if you’re an adult) for both flavors while enjoying everything there is to experience around Galaxy’s Edge before testing your skills flying “the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy” on Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.

While you’re out eating like the locals in Batuu, you’ll have to make time for a Ronto Wrap.

Ronto Wrap

Don’t take our word for it, we’re begging you to try one for yourself! Don’t let their appearance intimidate you, though. These wraps are made of roasted pork, grilled port sausage, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw wrapped in pita bread.

Morning Ronto Wrap

Although you might just have to grab one earlier in the morning because the breakfast version of the wrap is made with eggs. It’s a very popular option for breakfast as one of the few grab-and-go eats for an early start to the day but certainly not like anything you get anywhere else.

Feeling a little spicy? You need a round of Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries.

Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries

They really have mastered the art of seasoned fries and will serve them to you with your choice of curried honey mustard or Korean chili ketchup. Your tastebuds will be thanking you instantly!

If you’re needing to cool down with something sweet, try a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar.

Emma approved snack!

Everything tastes better when it’s Mickey-shaped, right? We certainly think so! Disney’s taken an iconic look to a milk-chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream and transformed it into one of the most photographed and memorable snacks you can find in Disney World. If you didn’t get a picture of your Mickey ice cream bar, did you even have one?

  1. I’d eat Dole Whip. The rest are not necessary in my life, except maybe the Ronto Wrap, since there is very little choice for eating in Galaxy’s Edge.
