Please. We’re Begging You. AVOID This in Hollywood Studios at ALL Costs

There are so many great things to do in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but there’s one spot we are asking, no — BEGGING, you to avoid.

Hollywood Studios crowds

No, it’s not those long lines at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the divisive popcorn from Kat Saka’s Kettle, or the blue and green milks from Galaxy’s Edge. This is a different thing entirely, but it’s still one we think you’ll want to avoid if at all possible.

What we’re talking about are…some very specific bathrooms in Hollywood Studios!

Now, there are some fantastic restrooms in the park that we’ve covered in past posts, like the incredibly themed Toy Story Land bathrooms

…or the unique restrooms in Galaxy’s Edge.

And we can’t forget to mention the Hollywood Brown Derby Bathrooms, which will make you feel like a celebrity.

But if you can, there’s one set of restrooms you should AVOID — they’re pictured below. In fact, one of our reporters said“Under no circumstances are you to step foot [in] these bathrooms.” Sounds serious!

Avoid These!

The restrooms are located on the opposite corner of Walt Disney Presents (marked as attraction #49 on the map below). To the left of them, you’ll find Pixar Place and The Market. To the right of them is the entrance walkway to Toy Story Land.

So, what’s so bad about these restrooms? Well, according to our reporters, these can get quite busy, which makes sense as families might stop by them before heading into Toy Story Land (not realizing there are more restrooms at the back end of the land). In fact, one said that they’re often too packed to really use (at least in a timely manner). With more people, can come more messes too, so that’s something to keep in mind.

On top of being busy, they can be strangely dark, which isn’t the best. And sometimes the crowds coupled with the existing Florida heat can cause these to be really humid. That’s a far cry from some of the bigger, quieter, and heavily air-conditioned bathrooms available at other places within the Disney World parks (we’re looking at you — huge bathrooms in the American Adventure pavilion).

The Bathrooms to Avoid

So, if you can, we’d recommend SKIPPING these bathrooms in Hollywood Studios and opting for some other ones (if possible — of course, when emergencies happen or nature calls, sometimes there’s no way to avoid them!).

Some of the alternatives we’d recommend include those “refreshers” in Galaxy’s Edge (double-sided sinks make this especially convenient), the Hollywood Brown Derby restrooms, the restrooms near Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy (which can be MUCH quieter as long as you don’t stop by when a show has let out), or the ones inside Animation Courtyard.
