McDonald’s ALERT❗You Can Get FREE French Fries Soon

It seems almost every day is some kind of national holiday, but the food-related holidays often bring some nice perks.

For example, you can get free donuts on National Donut Day — and who’s going to argue with that? Well, now, National Fry Day is coming up soon, and if you love those delicious crispy potato sticks, you might want to take advantage of the holiday.

So what does National Fry Day mean for you? Well, it means that you can get FREE fries from some of your favorite fast food joints, INCLUDING McDonald’s (and, well, we could argue those are some of the BEST fries). According to Today, McDonald’s is giving away free fries of any size for one day only, July 13th (National Fry Day, of course). There is a catch, though: you can only grab the free fries through the McDonald’s app. But you don’t have to buy anything else to get them!

Other fast food restaurants are also participating, though, including Smashburger, which will be offering free fries for one day only with any purchase. Heinz is teaming up with Uber Eats to offer $5.70 off orders that include French Fries on the special day.

White Castle will be offering a coupon redeemable for buy-one-get-one-free small fries at participating locations.

Wendy’s is offering free fries of any size with any in-app purchase from July 13th through July 16th. This even includes seasoned potatoes for breakfast!

Checkers & Rallys are offering a free order of XL Fries between July 14th and July 16th. Why a day late? Actually, they petitioned for National Fry Day to be on a FRIDAY (which makes sense) and got it changed by National Calendar Day, but they’re the only chain that seems to have realized it. They’re also offering $1 fries of any size from July 24th through August 6th, because every day should be Fry Day, right?
