YOU Can Own a Piece of Disney History…But There’s a Catch

Have you ever wanted to own a piece of Disney history?

Maybe you would like to own your own memorabilia, like a Disney ride vehicle, or prop used in an actual attraction. Maybe you’d love to have some sketches or artwork used in Disney movies. Maybe you just want to collect rare memorabilia that no one else has. Whatever the case, you NEED to know about this new online auction!

The LARGEST EVER individually owned Disneyland/Disney Park collection of rare memorabilia that has been obtained over 30 years will soon be up for auction. It’s called the Joel Magee Disneyland Collection.

Let’s just say that if you’re a Haunted Mansion fan, you’ll want to look alive for this one. Why? Because several Haunted Mansion items will be available, including a Doom Buggy attraction vehicle!

That’s not all, though, the auction also includes a display set of all three audio-animatronic Hitchhiking Ghosts AND some original hand-painted stretching room portraits from the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. WOW.

That’s not all, though, You can also get an original ride vehicle from Snow White’s Scary Ride Adventure. This is a vehicle from the ride before it was re-themed in 2021 to Snow White’s Enchanted Wish.

You can even grab some Jungle Cruise props, like a Jungle Cruise Skull Prop and a Jungle Cruise Shrunken Head. Wouldn’t these make great living room decor?

Some more history you could own includes the ORIGINAL doors to Main Street City Hall in Disneyland.

How about something even cooler? You can bid on Walt’s Microphone Shield which has the big “D” logo on it.

There are over 1,500 items included as part of the auction. According to Mike Van Eaton, Co-Founder, Van Eaton Galleries, “This is the first and most important auction of his collection in the coming year and is by far the most impressive and historically significant one-of-a-kind pieces.”

Peter Pan Ship Ride Vehicle (Estimate: $50,000-$100,000)
Rare set of Tiki Birds from the Enchanted Tiki Room which have been restored to working order (Estimate: $80,000-$100,000)

But here’s the catch — this is an auction, so you’ll have to bid to get these. Will YOU be lucky enough to win? There’s only one way to find out…

All of these items and MANY more will be up for bid starting on July 17th and running through July 19th. If you want to see the collection it’s available via a public exhibition that’ll be open until July 16th. Stop by the Burbank Town Center Mall to see them. Note that you can bid via phone or online.
