A NEW attraction is opening in EPCOT this year, and we cannot WAIT to explore it.
Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana is set to open in the fall of 2023 in World Nature. It’s a walk-through attraction where you can explore trails and interact with “magical, living water.” On a recent trip to EPCOT, we heard an important update about it!
When we say we heard an important update, we mean that literally. As we were walking past the construction walls that surround the attraction, we heard music coming from inside!
Although we couldn’t see over the walls, we captured this video to show you all the music we were hearing.

We could also hear voices inside, which probably means that Disney is testing out the attraction! This is an important step as Disney prepares to open the experience. Imagineers shared an update a little while ago showing some testing they performed on the interactive water elements.
This attraction is pretty big, which means there are a LOT of construction walls in EPCOT right now. If you ride the Monorail around the park, you can see over the walls and into the attraction area!
Progress is coming along, with lots of rocks and landscaping already up.
We’ve also spotted some kind of host stand or kiosk that might be the official entrance.
