A Store Has PERMANENTLY CLOSED at a Hotel in Disney World

Lots of things are changing in Disney World, but just as there are new beginnings in some spots, there are endings in others.

Swan and Dolphin Resort

We’ve seen quite a few stores permanently close in Disney Springs over the past several months, while new restaurants and other changes have been announced. And as we strolled through Disney World recently we noticed another update.

Over at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort, you’ll find a variety of restaurants and shops. One of those stores was called Accents. The store offered apparel and accessories, and it is actually still listed as one of the stores at the Dolphin on the Walt Disney World website. But while we were at the Dolphin recently, we got some news about this spot.

On previous visits, we had seen that Accents was closed, but recently a Cast Member within the Dolphin confirmed that Accents is PERMANENTLY closed. Another Cast Member at the Dolphin told us that it is closed forever.

CLOSED!

In terms of what might replace it, that is unclear. One Cast Member told us that nothing would be in that spot for now, while another said that they believed the hotel was searching for a replacement. We will continue to keep an eye on the space in the coming months to see if anything new does appear.

In the meantime, you can stop by the Swan and Dolphin Resorts to check out the NEW Rosa Mexicano restaurant or hop over to the BoardWalk to check out the eats at the BoardWalk Deli or Carousel Coffee.

Plus, you’ll want to stop by again once The Cake Bake Shop opens on the BoardWalk, and there are room/hallway upgrades at the BoardWalk Inn to see too.

We will keep checking out all of these changes and will bring you the latest news so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for all the latest!
