If you’ve been to Disney World in the summer, you know it is not for the faint of heart.

Let’s take a peek at the average wait times for Disney World rides over the past week. This can help you make an informed decision when it comes to buying Genie+ or not, and which rides you should prioritize in the parks either way. Keep scrolling to see those wait times!
Magic Kingdom
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is the longest line in Disney World…and you don’t wait to wait in its line in the summer. Although you load the ride vehicle in the shade and that’s where part of the queue is, much of the queue is outdoors. Luckily other long lines at Space Mountain and Peter Pan’s Flight are indoors with air conditioning.

Here are the average weekly wait times for each ride below, from shortest to longest wait times.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Last week, Slinky Dog Dash saw a 19 minute jump in its average wait time. Unfortunately, that time has continued to climb this week with an average wait time of 87 minutes. This is much higher than the super popular Rise of the Resistance that only has a 71-minute average wait time.

- Toy Story Mania: 51 minutes
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 54 minutes
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 57 minutes
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 57 minutes
- Rise of the Resistance: 71 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash: 87 minutes
EPCOT
EPCOT has some tame wait times, but that doesn’t mean you should skip making a game plan here! Test Track, Frozen Ever After, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure constantly post long wait times — if these are must-dos for you, prioritize these in your day.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Despite Flight of Passage having the longest wait time in Disney World (tied with Slinky Dog Dash), wait times are actually going DOWN at the popular rides in Animal Kingdom. Since last week, the average wait times have decreased at Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Na’vi River Journey, and Flight of Passage.

The average wait times for the rest of Animal Kingdom’s attractions are listed below:
- TriceraTop Spin: 7 minutes
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug: 10 minutes
- Dinosaur: 24 minutes
- Expedition Everest: 30 minutes
- Kali River Rapids: 30 minutes
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: 30 minutes
- Na’vi River Journey: 57 minutes
- Avatar Flight of Passage: 87 minutes
