You can already visit some real-life locations that have inspired hit Disney and Pixar films, but now there’s a special trip that’ll take you to one of those spots with all kinds of added perks.

Adventures by Disney can take you to all kinds of places around the world for one-of-a-kind trips but now they’ve announced something NEW — starting in 2024, new Adventures will be available to Colombia, the country that inspired Encanto!

And that’s not all. In addition to Colombia, guests will soon get to visit the Eastern Canada Maritime Provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, plus there will be an enhanced New Zealand itinerary available in 2024 too.

Where Will YOUR Adventures Take You?

In Colombia, you’ll get to do all kinds of things (inspired by the film and/or the filmmakers’ trip to Colombia), including:

  • Make arepas (like the ones Julieta made for her family), eat all kinds of food, and play tejo.
  • Tour a Colombian coffee farm in the Coffee Region (which is the spot that inspired the “coffee kid” in the movie).
  • Learn about the conservation of cotton-top tamarins as you trek through the dry forest near Proyecto Titi (Colombia’s “rich biodiversity” is what inspired Antonio’s animal-focused power).
  • Go on privately guided tours in Bogota, where you’ll get to visit Paloquemao Market to taste some locally-grown fruits and check out the historic city center.
  • Snorkel among a collection of islands that is home to “more than 1,300 species of marine animals, vibrantly colored fish and plants.”

Plus, those on the inaugural Colombia season trips will get some exclusive Encanto artwork as a signed lithograph. You can download it as a computer wallpaper below!

In terms of the other adventures, here’s what you need to know. For the Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island trips,  you’ll be able to:

  • Tour an authentic maple syrup farm in Nova Scotia.
  • Explore the 150-year-old Wood Island Lighthouse, walk on the low-tide ocean floor at the Bay of Fundy, enjoy an onboard fisherman’s feast, ride horses, listen to live Celtic music, bike, and more.
  • Have some tea with a descendant of author Lucy Maud Montgomery’s family at the Anne of Green Gables Museum.
  • Visit the fictitious community “central to the Anne of Green Gables stories.”
  • Learn about the indigenous Mi’kmaq Peoples.
