The comments on this new preview were overall very positive and gripped with excitement for what’s to come. In the description, Disney + teases Star Wars Visions Volume 2‘s release as “nine new shorts” from “nine global animation studios.” This will be a unique perspective to see so many interpretations of Star Wars lore brought to life through different animation creative teams. We’re looking forward to its Disney+ release on Star Wars Day, May 4th, 2023.

Star Wars Celebration in Europe seemed to be a success, and this wasn’t the only announcement about the Star Wars series on Disney+. Star Wars: The Bad Batch was also announced for a third and final season, as well as a series introducing young padawans to the Star Wars universe in the animated Young Jedi Adventures. The celebration also featured a panel discussion from the cast and filmmakers of Ahsoka, which will be coming to Disney+ in August 2023.
