$25 Can Save You THREE Hours in Disney World — Here’s How

Well, Disney World is VERY busy right now.

That’s because the Spring Break crowds have arrived, and more are on the way. In fact, we’d recommend NOT visiting the parks right now, if you don’t have to because wait times are VERY high.

By high, we mean that even rides that generally have lower wait times have higher wait times than normal. Guests are waiting 45 minutes for Astro Orbiter in Magic Kingdom! They’re waiting an hour for Alien Swirling Saucers. When things look like this, we usually recommend purchasing Genie+ (and making sure you budget for it because its price can be high when things are this busy).

If you’re wanting to ride those REALLY popular rides, you may also need to buy the Individual Lightning Lane option for those rides that offer it. For instance, some people waited over three hours for Rise of the Resistance and $25 could have saved them the majority of that time. Pro tip, though: you’ll need to purchase Genie+ and Individual Lighting Lane early in the day — both often sell out on busy days!
