A Fan-Favorite Ride Is Unexpectedly CLOSED in Animal Kingdom

Even in Disney World, not everything always goes according to plan.

Weather can ruin your day, you might have to deal with crowds, and rides can malfunction causing them to close. For folks in Animal Kingdom this morning, that’s exactly what happened.

Bad news if you were hoping to experience the Disco Yeti on Expedition Everest today — the ride is currently down for technical difficulties.

This Animal Kingdom coaster takes guests on an adventure through the Forbidden Mountain, but for now, Animal Kingdom visitors will have to find something else to do to occupy their time.

And, while we were checking on Everest, we also noticed that over in EPCOT, Test Track is also temporarily closed!

We’re not sure how long these rides will be unavailable, but it’s a good idea to continue checking the My Disney Experience app for the latest information on ride closures. They could open back up soon, giving you the chance to ride a little bit later — but we’ll have to wait and see.
