Stop Meeting Mickey in Magic Kingdom – Here’s Where To Find Him Instead

You’ve booked your hotel, bought your tickets, made your dining and park pass reservations, and now — you’re ready to go to Disney World.

There’s just one thing left to cross off your list — figuring out where you’re going to meet Mickey Mouse! Of course, there’s always Magic Kingdom, but you’ll often find quite a long line of people waiting to meet him too. Luckily, Magic Kingdom isn’t the only place where you’ll find Mickey — so here’s where you can find him instead!

EPCOT

When it comes to meeting Mickey in Disney World, you’ve got a few different options depending on what works for you and your travel party! If you don’t want to wait in the long line at Magic Kingdom’s Town Square Theater to meet the Main Mouse, consider meeting him at EPCOT instead!

You’ll find Mickey greeting guests regularly over at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival at the Imagination Pavilion. Located just a short walk away from Journey Into Imagination with Figment, this meet-and-greet location is nicely tucked away and often boasts little to no lines.

Hollywood Studios

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll find Mickey meeting at Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane. This location is open daily, and is often overlooked as guests pass by which means (you guessed it!) shorter waits than what you’d find if you met up with Mickey in Magic Kingdom.

Oh, and did we mention that Mickey is joined by none other than Minnie Mouse herself?! That’s right — you can meet Mickey AND Minnie together at Red Carpet Dreams. Mickey dons his Sorcerer garb and Minnie is dressed to the nines in her most glamorous Hollywood gown!

Animal Kingdom

And finally, you can even meet Mickey at Animal Kingdom! Over at Adventurers Outpost on Discovery Island, Mickey gets dressed in his safari best to mingle with guests. Plus, this is another location where you can meet Mickey and Minnie together!

We typically see lower waits here than at Magic Kingdom and occasionally at the other parks as well, so keep this meet and greet in mind if you’re heading to Animal Kingdom.

Of course, if meeting Mickey in Magic Kingdom is an absolute must-do on your Disney bucket list, then don’t let us stop you! But, if you’re not trying to wait in a looooong, long line to meet the Main Mouse himself, consider heading to a different park instead! You may still have to wait in a line, but chances are it won’t be too bad.
