Disney World’s Wait Times Surprised Us!

This has been one of the busiest weeks we’ve EVER seen at Disney World. We even saw Genie+ sell out for the FIRST TIME ever earlier this week.

That’s because President’s Day was on Monday, followed by the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. Both events bring crowds to the parks, but interestingly enough, we actually saw wait times begin to go DOWN yesterday. Say what?

So what does this mean? Well, it could mean you might want to reconsider purchasing Genie+ on a day like this. Considering that most of the attractions with the highest waits tend to be those with the Individual Lightning Lane option, you could just get those if they’re a priority for you.

Or you could just bypass Genie+ altogether and skip those rides — there are plenty of attractions that have very reasonable wait times. This is especially true right after park opening (meaning you might want to get there for Early Theme Park Entry or rope drop) and right before park close.
