A powerful winter storm is currently hitting the state, causing rain, hail, and even snow in some areas. Threats include high winds, flooding, and even a blizzard warning. As a result, two theme parks remain closed through today.

Knott’s Berry Farm posted on Twitter that due to the inclement weather, its theme park will remain closed today, February 25th. However, select California Marketplace locations will remain open until 6PM.

Six Flags Magic Mountain has also been closed for the past few days and posted today that it will remain closed due to the weather. Tickets purchased for today, though, will be valid through December 31st, 2023.

If you were planning on visiting either of these theme parks over the weekend, it’s probably a good idea to keep checking for updates.

Currently, Disneyland Resort remains open, although most outdoor rides are closed (which is typical Disney policy when the weather is bad).  Universal Studios Hollywood is also currently open, and since most rides are indoors, most of them are open.

We’ll keep an eye on the situation, and let you know about any other closures due to the weather in California. So stay tuned to AllEars for more.
