A Hint for the CLOSING Date of Trail’s End Restaurant in Disney World

Disney World changes all the time.

Fort Wilderness

Some of these changes are ones we really look forward to, like new rides and experiences while others we dread the day they arrive. We’ve just spotted online that your LAST day to experience a popular Disney World restaurant could be coming up soon.

We heard in January that Trail’s End at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort would be closing for a refurbishment this spring to reopen as a “marketplace concept with expanded quick service options.” When the restaurant returns, the current table service style meal will not.

We noticed on the website that it seems like the last day you can experience family-style dining at this restaurant will be April 16th.

While this hasn’t been announced by Disney officially yet, we noticed on the website that while the restaurant is usually closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the restaurant shows it is closed starting on Monday, April 17th.

When you go to check availability, it shows that there are no reservations available on the 17th, or any day in the foreseeable future.

Again, this restaurant isn’t closing for good, but this location will no longer be a table service spot. While we are excited to see what this revamp means, we are sad to say goodbye to this comfort meal.
